American Heart Association Spirit Week

Treasure Mountain Jr. High will be raising the awareness for The American Heart Association, AHA, during the week March 28-April 1. The AHA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Their mission statements says: "To build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke."

On Monday, students are encouraged to wear a full smile. The campaign posters state: “Go the extra mile and put on a big smile.” On Tuesday, students have the option to wear sport uniforms or school spirit. On Wednesday, students are told to wear PJs or comfy clothes. On Thursday, students are encouraged to “show your smarts and learn more about hearts (wear glasses, suspenders, and other “nerdy attire”). Lastly, on Friday students are told to wear red. Please participate in AHA spirit week.
