Neil Gaiman’s performance at The Eccles Center on Saturday, April 18th was nothing short of dynamic and inspirational. His show targeted all ages. Ms Hooker said, “Neil Gaiman is an author that inspires students to read because of his unique and creative perspective. I have seen non readers become readers.” Treasure Mountain Junior High School gave 100 tickets to attend the show. Students had the opportunity to win tickets by watching Coraline, reading books, attending book clubs at lunch and comparing Hillary Clinton's book, It Takes a Village to The Graveyard.

Neil Gaiman is a world renown author who has an astonishing 37 books published. “His books and stories have also been honored with 4 Hugos, 2 Nebulas, 1 World Fantasy Award, 4 Bram Stoker Awards, 6 Locus Awards, 2 British SF Awards, 1 British Fantasy Award, 3 Geffens, 1 International Horror Guild Award and 2 Mythopoeic Awards,” according to neilgaiman.com. His list of honors and best sellers can go on forever but all you need to know is that he is pretty good at writing books.
2. Neil Gaiman not only writes books, he is involved with theater, television, comics, Films and Audio. He is well rounded and very knowledgeable. Whether you enjoy books or you don’t you will find something in common with him.
3. Neil Gaiman has spoken all around the world, done Ted Talks, done many interviews and more. We are more than lucky to have him come to our little town because he is not one who enjoys traveling.
4. Neil Gaiman is British and everyone loves how they talk! A little British accent will never hurt. He is also very laid back just like most teenagers. You will find many things in common with him and he will understand you.
5. Finally, Neil Gaiman has an amazing wife. Men with great wives are better people in the long run. She also wrote a very inspiring book. He is also a very funny guy. Attending his show will be funny, exciting, interesting and most of all fun.

Neil Gaiman is talented in so many and he is coming to Park City so you should go and see him.
