1. Polar Express has been made into a movie and both depict a boy who doesn't believe in Santa. Because he doesn't believe, a magic train comes along to take him to the north pole to meet Santa and the train ride there is anything but peaceful when he goes on a series of adventures delaying and helping the train to the top of the world.
2. How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a popular story book by Dr. Seuss about a green guy who hates christmas. After he steals Christmas from the town of whoville, he realizes that he has to return Christmas, and his heart grew three sizes bigger. Like all Dr. Seuss works it also rhymes.
3. The Night Before Christmas compared to the first two books is also sweet and a classic holiday read. It's a rhyming story about Santa's visit to a particular house and how the man living there sees him going about his magical business and setting out presents.
4. The Christmas Party (Disney Frozen) well, something about Frozen was bound to be here. It is about Christmas in Arendelle and Anna and Elsa's celebration. The book comes with press-out ornaments with pictures of the characters on them.
5. Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer is a television series that first aired 50 years ago on December 6th. It has been turned into a well illustrated gift book. It, like the rest of these books would make a good gift for any child.
