One of the most important ways to stay healthy at school, is to wash your hands. You should always wash your hands before and after you eat, after you go to the bathroom, if you cough or sneeze into your hands, or touching someone else’s technology. According to rainbowlight.com, “You should also avoid touching your eyes, mouth, and nose. These places are the easiest to get germs into.”
The second thing, is to cover your sneeze or cough. Preferably, cough into your arm, because then it won’t be spread anywhere else. If you cough into the air all the germs travel. If you cough into your hand and shake someone’s hand then you are spreading germs to that person. When you sneeze, make sure you aim it in your arm too. Or use a tissue and throw it away.
The third thing, is to make sure you don’t share food or water bottles with anyone sick. If someone has a really bad cold, the last thing you want to do is spread the germs to yourself. You can share food with them, but don’t eat anything that has been in their hands, or their mouth.
The fourth thing to make sure you stay healthy, is eat healthy foods, and exercise. Eating healthy foods, will benefit your health and make your immune system stronger. Yogurt is really good because it contains probiotics that are really good for your digestive health. If you are sick with a cold, try eating lots of vitamin C which is found in oranges. Also, drink a lot of water, and sleep appropriate hours.
The fifth thing, is to stay away from kids that are sick. I am not saying to avoid everyone, I am just saying the people that have a really bad sickness. If they keep coughing and sneezing, keep your distance, and always wash your hands.
If you follow all these steps, you will have a better chance of not being sick. Not being sick has many benefits too. It will help your growth, you will be able to go to places, hang out with your friends, and be at school so you don’t have to miss work.
