The Invention of Hugo Cabret - Book Review

The Invention of Hugo Cabret is an intriguing, mysterious, book, written in a completely unique style. The book is a story of a boy, Hugo, who lives in the train station. His uncle died in a fire that took place in a museum, so Hugo alone has been keeping all of the clocks clean and working in the station, and has developed a love of tinkering with all things mechanical. One day, however, after meeting a strange man, Hugo begins to uncover a web of mysteries about his uncle's death and how it relates to this man. The tale is spun with both words and black and white pictures, creating an amazing book, and one which I would recommend to anyone who enjoys mystery or adventure books.
