Powerless by Matthew Cody Book Review

How would you feel if you had just moved to a new town, only to discover that every kid you knew had super powers? In the first book of the Powerless trilogy, this is exactly what happens. However, there is something more sinister going on. The protagonist, Daniel Corrigan, notices that there aren’t any adults, even though his friends say that the "supers" have been around for longer than they know. He discovers that when his friends reach the age of 13, their powers - all of their memories - disappear in the night. In Powerless, it is up to Daniel to figure out what is happening, and how he can stop it. This book, by Matthew Cody, tells the story in a unique way that opens up a completely new way to read books. This book really gives insight into what it is like for someone who isn’t even a sidekick. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys action, mystery, or anything out of the ordinary.
