                                                      Super Bowl Commercials

The Super Bowl is quite a big deal every year in America. Over 111.5 million people watch it every year. Pizza sales are at high for the night and everyone is rushing to the parties. The two teams that went head to head at Super Bowl XLIX were the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. The game draws some, the halftime show draws others, and the commercials are a bonus. The commercials for the Super Bowl are known to be very funny and this year they were not the best.
The commercials this year were not known to be too funny. Time website rated all the commercials with a letter grade. Majority were C and Ds. The ones that got As were for Snickers, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Dove Men, McDonalds, Microsoft, Toyota, Clash of Clans, Dodge, and Loctite. Many of these were touching rather then funny this year. The McDonalds one was about people doing kind things instead of paying for food. The Coca-Cola one was about Coke spreading happiness on accident and making people feel better. The Dove Men was about dads loving their kids. Microsoft was about their company creating prosthetics for a little boy so he could walk. There were so many more like this which was good but the funny ones to most are the best. In years past there has not been so many touching ones and this year that was the majority of the commercials.
The funny commercials keep you watching the TV instead of going to the bathroom and that did not happen this year. Some of the favorites from last year were the Doritos, Audi, and Cheerios commercials and all of these were geared towards funny, not touching. Overall the commercials were cute but not too entertaining. Hopefully next years Superbowl will bring more laughter.
