1. Start off writing a list of things that needs to be done, start with the easiest things first, once those are done you can tackle the bigger problems. Writing a list helps you understand what needs to be done, it allows you to cross off things you have accomplished, and helps you better organize.
2. Next, create a calendar that can help you keep track of upcoming events and assignments. Use online calendars or a paperback calendar that you can write on. On the calendars, write upcoming assignments and due dates, plan when assignments are and when they should be turned in. Set lots of alarms to help you stay on track and be on time. The alarms should be set everyday, set several alarms in case some don’t go off.
3. If you like to sleep in, and you don’t like being rushed in the morning, set out your outfit the night before, as soon as you wake up you won’t have to go through the trouble of looking for an outfit. Once you get up you can throw on your outfit, giving you more time in the morning. If you have extra time the night before, make your lunch, you’ll have less trouble in the morning and will give you a longer time to sleep in. Take a shower the night before, doing this will allow you more time to sleep in. These are just a few ways to give you more time in the morning.
4. Try using different types of organizing bins, cases and bookshelves. These types of bins and cases help you organize your things, and make it easier to find. Having bins allows you to label them, keep them clean and find things easier. Using bookshelves can help you alphabetize your books, and keep them in an ordered fashion, and makes it easier to find a specific book you are looking for. Hooks can be very helpful, to hang jackets, scarves, clothes, etc. The hooks help keep your clothes off the floor, and keep things neat.
5. If you have trouble being organized, it’s good to have someone there to help you and remind you to stay on task. This person can be there to motivate you and help you if needed. It’s good to have someone with you who can point out things that you probably wouldn’t notice yourself. This person, can help you get started and keep you company.
These are just a few ways to help you stay organized, although there are many other ways. Just remember to stay focused, and understand what needs to be done, and how you can accomplish it. Being organized isn’t hard, learning how to be organized and staying organized is hard. Just motivate yourself by doing simple tasks that keep you organized.
