Subaru Callbacks

Owners of Subaru car models 2009-2013 Subaru Forester, 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza WRX or WRX STI, and 2012-2014 Subaru Impreza, WRX, or WRX STI need to get their cars brakes checked, and residents of "Salt Belt" States cars are being recalled immediately. The car breaks can be easily eroded by salt water, causing windshield wiper fluid to leak as well as slower breaking times.

For owners whose cars are or have been registered in the salt belt Subaru will recall the model, for owners in other states, Subaru will leave contacting them about their potential car problems to local dealers but will pay for a brake repairs upon request.

 The Salt Belt states are Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin, plus Washington, D.C.

They are recalling about 198,900 of these models of cars after recalling 660,000 cars for this same reason this last summer.
