The New Toys of 2015
260 exhibitors go to the London Toy Fair January 20-22. This is the 62nd year for the fair. Tons of exhibitors come and show-off their new toys. Some of the toys that are predicted to be hot are minions from Despicable Me, Lego Mine craft, Ninjago Legos, and Jurassic Park themed items. “The toy market can be very unpredictable,” says senior accountant manager Rory Partis.
There are Jurassic Park Legos, and action figures. Many of the new toys have new and never seen dinosaurs and characters from Jurassic Park 4. Jurassic Park 4 is coming out June 12.
Another toy that is predicted to well in 2015, but has also done well in 2014 is Frozen. There are Frozen hair clips, jewelry, plush toys, and hula hoops. In the United States alone Frozen led to $531 million in sales. Even though Frozen came out in 2013 the toy Elsa’s Sparkling Ice Castle is said to be one of the best new toys.
The Star Wars Lego’s are also said to be a big hit. The children’s TV show Star Wars Rebels is a very popular show shown on Disney XD. The best-seller of this lego set is Ezra’s Speed Bike.
