Gorgoza Park Open For The Season

Gorgoza Park located off of I-80 about 10-15 minutes from town, opened for the season late November. The park is opening for the Winter season and will be open until April. Gorgoza has seven lifts which take tubers up the hill so they don't have to make the long trek themselves, allowing for all the fun and none of the work.

"It's really fun, I had a blast there when I went with my sister and cousin." Krissy, a local, says about Gorgoza. The park is a blast for anyone who wants to try it out. Kids get to have a blast on the mini snowmobiles and at Fort Frosty. The whole family will enjoy the fast and thrilling ride down one of the seven tubing hills. And, at the end of the fun day everyone can warm up in one of the Yachts at the bottom of the hill with a nice cup of hot cocoa.

To go tubing it costs $8 for a single ride down the slope, $23 for 2 hours of fun, and $33 for 4 hours (this is per head.) To go on the mini snowmobiles it costs $10 for 10 laps, you have to be ages 5-12 no more than 110 pounds to ride the snow mobiles. Fort Frosty, "a place where little people can man the fort," is $10 per kid, and they must be accompanied by an adult.

Gorgoza is a great place for the whole family to enjoy. Anyone looking for a fun winter activity should drop by Gorgoza anytime between 1:00-8:00 pm and give it a try.
