Five Last Minute Breakfast Ideas

     Breakfast: The most important meal of the day. Sadly, we all have those days where we are running late, and scrambling to find something to eat. Here are some last minute breakfast ideas that take 5 minutes or less to prepare!

1. Yogurt Parfait 
One easy, fast, and healthy breakfast idea is a home made yogurt parfait. All you need is yogurt (preferably vanilla greek yogurt), some of your favorite fruit or berries, and granola. Put the yogurt into a bowl and layer the berries, and granola.

2. Smoothies
Smoothies are a little more time consuming, but they are very healthy and delicious. Here are some appetizing recipes for smoothies.
•Berry Delicious- 2 cups of frozen mixed berries, one banana, one cup of milk
•Peanut Butter Banana- 2 bananas, 2 cups of milk, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 tbsp honey, 2 cups of ice
•Kiwi Strawberry- 1 cup strawberries, 2 peeled kiwis, 2 cups ice
Blend the ingredients together and enjoy!

3. Peanut Butter and Honey Toast
All you need for this recipe is bread, peanut butter, and honey. Toast the bread (optional) and spread on the peanut butter and honey.

4. Eggo Waffles
Although Eggo waffles may not be the healthiest option, they are a fast and easy breakfast. Toast eggo waffles in a toaster, and put butter and syrup on top.

5. Granola Bar or Fruit
Another time saving option if you are about to miss your bus would be a cliff bar, or other granola bar. You could also grab a banana to go. 

     Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so instead of putting it behind you, prepare one of these fast and easy recipes instead.
